Marine Models and Moulds

Hull, deck and marine-component tooling starts with an accurate master and a surface suitable for repeated release. On large tools, surface fairness, support stiffness, joint placement and handling need to be considered together.

01 / MASTER MODEL

Fair, machine and finish the reference

Foam or a supporting structure provides the bulk shape. Tooling paste or bonded model boards provide the machinable working layer. Fairness and sealed joints are checked before release treatment.

02 / PRODUCTION MOULD

Combine the surface and backing structure

The mould surface and reinforced laminate must remain compatible through cure and repeated demoulding. Stiffening and handling supports protect the geometry during lifting, assembly and production.
